Last week, ARISE hosted our Decolonizing Thanksgiving event with our incredible Youth Leaders and Junior Flames. Together, we created a space to reflect upon the real history of “Thanksgiving,” to learn from Indigenous resistance movements and connect it to modern day struggles, and to build community with one another.
